Mrs Virginia Kraft, 78 yrs old, dies
Mrs Virginia Hutchinson Kraft, mother of Mrs
C.C. Cummings, died at 5:45 o’clock this
morning at the Cummings residence, 520 Pearl
street. Although in ill health for a number of
years, Mrs Kraft had recently enjoyed
unusually good health. Her death followed a
sudden attack of illness yesterday afternoon.
Beside her daughter, Mrs Kraft is survived by
her husband, George M Kraft, who for
several weeks has been in Evansville, Indiana
on a visit. Mrs Kraft would have been 79
yrs old in June.
For several years Mr & Mrs Kraft have made
their home with Dr & Mrs Cummings. They
formerly were residents of Evansville, Ind.,
and were pioneer settlers there. Mr Kraft
is 85 yrs old.
Burial will be in Evansville. The body will be
sent from Joplin over the Frisco tonight.
